Painful / Woman along with his five daughters committed suicide in Chhattisgarh Mahasamund

Mahasamund | A traumatic incident has come to the fore in Chhattisgarh, where a woman committed suicide along with her five daughters. On Thursday, police said that a woman along with her five daughters committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train in Mahasamund district. The woman and her daughters were missing since last night and were found on the track on Thursday morning. Police said that the eldest daughter was 17 years old while the youngest daughter was 10 years old.

Mahasamund Superintendent of Police Prafulla Thakur said the bodies have been sent for postmortem and a case has been registered. He said, the deceased woman was missing along with her daughters since last night, but her husband did not inform the police and was looking for them at his relative's house. On Thursday morning, someone spotted the bodies on the track and informed the police.

The SP further said that on Wednesday night, there was a fight between the husband and wife over some issue related to food. After the quarrel, the woman along with her daughters left the house. Prima facie it seems to be a case of suicide and the matter is being investigated. Police said that more details regarding the incident are awaited.
