New Delhi: The government has given relief news amidst the increasing dangers to children due to Corona epidemic. In fact, a pharmaceutical company has prepared a vaccine for teenagers and has sought approval from the government for its emergency use.

Zydus company trial completed

Dr. NK Arora, chairman of the Covid Working Group, said, 'The trial of Zydus Cadilla vaccine is almost complete. We will probably start vaccinating by the end of July or August. Children in the age group of 12-18 will be given this vaccine.

Dr. NK Arora said, 'ICMR has done a study, according to it the third wave of corona will come late. So we have 6-8 months time. We have enough time to vaccinate everyone. We will stop this wave from coming by putting 1 crore vaccines every day in the coming days.

The company can apply to the government

According to sources, the pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadilla may soon apply to the Drugs Controller of India for the emergency use of its corona vaccine 'Zykov-D'. The company says that it can be given to both adults and adolescents. However, children below 12 years of age may have to wait for the vaccine.

Dr Arora said that many rumors and misinformation are spreading in the country regarding vaccination. This increases fear in the minds of people. Due to which the whole process gets derailed. Dr Arora said that the 'Delta Plus' form has been found to be more associated with lung tissue than other forms of corona virus. This does not mean that it will cause serious disease or that it is more contagious.

Children's vaccine is being made for 2 years

At the same time, Delhi AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria said that the results of Phase II and III trials of Bharat Biotech's Vaccine on Children in the age group of 2 to 18 years are expected by September. After the approval of the drug controller to those results, corona vaccination can start for children in India as well.

Dr. Guleria said, 'If Pfizer's vaccine is approved before that, then it can also be an option for children. Along with this, Zydus Cadila Company has also completed trials for teenagers. If that too gets permission, then the availability of vaccines for children in the country will increase.

'Damage to children's education'

The AIIMS chief expressed concern over the damage being done to the education of the children. He said, 'We have to reopen the schools. Vaccination can play an important role in this. Vaccination is the way to overcome the epidemic.
