He noted that while ruling parties typically enjoy a significant advantage in local elections, this trend has been reversed in Rajasthan, signaling a shift in public sentiment.
Dramatic Shift in Vote Share Statistics

Allegations of Delimitation and Counting Irregularities
Dotasra raised serious concerns regarding the delimitation process, suggesting that ward boundaries and population distributions were manipulated to favor the ruling party. He asserted that if these irregularities were removed, the Congress would have won at least 1000 more wards than the BJP. He argued that the number of wards alone doesn't reflect the true political reality, as the Congress maintains a higher vote share in many areas despite losing seats due to structural engineering of wards. Also, he criticized the counting process, stating that the Congress had demanded recounting in 1316 wards, but the Election Commission didn't accept a single request. He alleged that results for Congress candidates leading by 100, 200, or 300 votes were deliberately stalled.
Performance in Reserved Wards and CM's Roadshows
The Congress party claimed a significant lead in SC and ST reserved wards. According to Dotasra, Congress won 542 such wards compared to the BJP's 350. In SC women categories, Congress secured 261 wards against the BJP's 186, while in ST categories, Congress won 53 wards to the BJP's 39. Dotasra attributed this to the resentment among Dalit communities, citing the alleged insult to National Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as a major factor. He also took a swipe at Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, noting that the BJP lost in all three Jaipur wards where the CM held roadshows. Similarly, in Jhalawar, the home district of former CM Vasundhara Raje, the BJP failed to secure a majority in 5 out of 8 local bodies.
Tika Ram Jully Alleges Administrative Misuse in Alwar
In Alwar, the Leader of the Opposition, Tika Ram Jully, leveled serious allegations against Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and State Minister Sanjay Sharma. Jully accused the administration and police of acting as agents for the BJP. He claimed that elected councilors were being forcibly picked up by the police to facilitate the formation of BJP boards. Jully, accompanied by elected councilors, visited the Alwar SP office to protest these actions. He specifically mentioned an incident in Malakhera and Naugaon where police officials allegedly forced a female Congress candidate into a vehicle, while jully warned that if the administration continues to work under political pressure, Congress workers will launch a democratic protest.
