The investigation into the NEET-UG medical entrance exam paper leak has gained significant momentum, revealing a complex network spanning multiple states. Recent findings by investigative agencies suggest that the leaked question paper reached Rajasthan through an individual identified as Yash Yadav. According to sources, Yash Yadav was closely associated with Vikas Biwal, another key figure in the distribution chain. While the investigation continues to unfold, one of the primary suspects, Shubham, has denied being the mastermind behind the entire operation. The central question remains: who is the original source of the leak, and through which channels were the illicit funds funneled?

The Rajasthan Link and Digital Duplication

Detailed probes have uncovered that the paper's journey into Rajasthan involved a systematic process of digitization. It's alleged that Dinesh Biwal, the father of Vikas Biwal, played a crucial role by scanning the physical hardcopy of the question paper to create a PDF file, while this digital version was subsequently circulated among numerous students enrolled in various coaching institutes in Sikar, Rajasthan. Sikar, being a prominent hub for medical and engineering coaching, appears to have been a major target for the distribution of the leaked material. Authorities are now identifying the students who received this PDF file.

Financial Transactions and Student Interrogations

During the interrogation process, several students admitted to paying substantial sums of money to acquire the leaked question paper, while sources indicate that the price for the paper ranged between ₹2 lakh and ₹5 lakh. Despite the mounting evidence, Shubham has maintained his innocence regarding the leadership of the racket. Investigative agencies are now focused on tracing the 'money trail' to identify the ultimate beneficiaries and the accounts used for these transactions. The goal is to pinpoint the exact origin of the leak and the sequence of individuals who facilitated its reach to the candidates.

CBI Interrogations and Yash Yadav's Background

Interestingly, Yash Yadav, who is implicated in the distribution of the paper, had failed to clear the exam himself in the past. He's currently a student of the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences (BAMS). The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its efforts by conducting extensive questioning of the staff and owners of various coaching institutes, while statements from both the arrested accused and the involved students are being recorded to build a comprehensive case. The focus remains on the financial aspect, specifically how the money was moved and who controlled the flow of funds across different states.

The Nashik Connection: SR Education Consultancy

The investigation has also crossed borders into Maharashtra, specifically Nashik, where a significant link has been established. The primary accused, Shubham Khairnar, operates a business known as 'SR Education Consultancy'. Located in the upscale Canada Corner area of Nashik, this consultancy has been active for the past two to three years and has seen considerable growth. The firm specializes in providing guidance to students seeking admission into MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, and Engineering programs. This establishment has now come under the scanner of the Rajasthan Police and central agencies.

The Rajasthan Police's investigation highlighted the Nashik connection as a pivotal part of the paper leak racket. The consultancy offered both online and offline guidance, covering everything from registration to the final admission process. It also provided information regarding competitive exams like NEET, JEE, and CET. To attract students, the consultancy heavily utilized social media advertising and online promotion, often promising significant discounts to meritorious or needy students. As the Nashik police prepare to expand their investigation, more startling revelations regarding the extent of this network are expected to emerge, while the office of the consultancy, with its prominent boards and advertisements, has now become a focal point of public and legal scrutiny.
