The Directorate emphasized that this delay hinders the overall administrative workflow and the timely assessment of educational standards across the state's government schools.

The Directorate of Secondary Education pointed out that this isn't the first time such instructions have been issued for the current cycle, while earlier directives were sent out on June 8 and July 2, 2026. These communications explicitly instructed the heads of all government secondary and senior secondary schools, as well as subject teachers, to record the subject-wise and school-wise board examination results. The data was required to be entered under the 'Result' tab on the Shala Darpan portal. The original deadline for this task was set for July 15, but due to incomplete submissions from various institutions, the timeline has been extended to ensure total data coverage.
New Deadline and Officer Responsibilities
According to the latest orders, a final deadline of July 31, 2026, has been established for the completion of this task. All district-level and block-level officers have been directed to closely monitor and oversee the schools under their jurisdiction. They must ensure that 100 percent of the examination results for Class 10 and Class 12 are entered and locked on the portal by this date. Institutional heads, known as Sanstha Pradhans, are also being held accountable at their respective levels to ensure that no subject or student record is left out of the digital system. The process involves not just the entry of marks but also the final locking of the data to prevent further unauthorized changes.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
The Directorate has issued a clear and final warning regarding any further negligence or delay in this administrative duty. If the examination results aren't uploaded and locked on the Shala Darpan portal by the specified date of July 31, 2026, disciplinary action will be initiated immediately. This action will be taken against the concerned institutional head or the responsible officer who fails to meet the requirement.
