The Union Health Ministry said that the active patients of COVID-19 in the country have now come down to 1,72,594 lakh. At the same time, 561 people died due to the epidemic in the country in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 16,479 people were cured after defeating the epidemic. After which the number of people who have recovered from Corona so far has increased to 3,35,48,605 in the country. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 13,40,158 sample tests were conducted for corona virus in India yesterday. Till yesterday, a total of 59,97,71,320 sample tests have been done in the country. India has crossed a milestone in the fight against the corona epidemic and has completed the figure of 100 crore doses of corona vaccine. India made the impossible possible in just 10 months. The figure of 100 crore vaccination doses of corona vaccine in a population of about 130 crores is a great achievement for the country. Only China is ahead of India in terms of vaccination. So far 102.10 crore corona vaccine doses have been administered across the country. About 90 million people in the country are yet to be given the second dose of the vaccine.

The situation of Kovid-19 has worsened in West Bengal, where 974 more people were infected with the corona virus on Saturday which is 128 more cases than the day before. This information came out in the health bulletin. After Durga Puja, the number of new cases has increased in the state for the fourth consecutive day. The total number of infected in the state has increased to 15,85,466 and the maximum number of 268 new cases of infection have been reported in Kolkata. There were 8,780 new cases of corona virus and 65 deaths in Kerala yesterday. There were 1,140 new Kovid cases in Tamil Nadu yesterday. The state recorded 17 deaths and 1,374 recoveries in the last 24 hours. At present, the active cases in Tamil Nadu are 13,280.
