According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 17 thousand 135 people have been infected with Kovid-19 in the last 24 hours across the country. After this, the total number of infected people of Kovid-19 has increased to 4 crore 40 lakh 67 thousand 144.

24.76 percent increase in new cases

An increase of 24.76 percent has been registered in the new cases of Coronavirus in the country. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, 13,734 new cases were reported across the country. Earlier on Monday (August 1), 16464 new cases of Korana virus were reported, while on Sunday, 19673 cases were registered.

The number of active patients decreased

Despite the increase in Kovid-19 new cases, the number of active patients (Coronavirus Active Cases) has come down and 137057 patients are being treated across the country. According to the data of the Ministry of Health, the number of active patients across the country on Tuesday was now 1 lakh 39 thousand 792.

Highest number of cases in 1 month in Delhi

In the national capital Delhi, 1506 new patients of Coronavirus were confirmed, which is the highest in a month. According to the data released by the Health Department on Tuesday evening, three infected people died in Delhi in 24 hours and the infection rate has gone up to 10.63 percent. This is the second day in a row that the infection rate is above 10 percent. According to government data, on June 26, 1891 cases were reported in Delhi. On Monday, the infection rate in Delhi was 11.41 percent, which was the highest in six months. There were 822 cases and two people lost their lives.
