Delhi: The fire of protest against the 'Agneepath' scheme has spread in many states. On the one hand, the protesters are becoming increasingly violent. At the same time, the police has also intensified the action. It is reported that so far more than a thousand people have been arrested in the midst of the demonstrations. Most of these arrests have taken place in Bihar. At the same time, a case has been registered against hundreds. Apart from this, the role of WhatsApp and coaching institutes is also involved in the police investigation.

A state in Eastern India

148 FIRs have been registered in Bihar, which is believed to be the worst affected by the violence. At the same time, 805 people have been arrested. State Additional Chief Home Secretary Chaitanya Prasad says that those targeting public properties in the name of agitation will not be spared. A police complaint has been filed against four coaching institutes in Masaudhi. It is reported that 191 people have been arrested from this district.

Telangana

Additional Director General of Police (Railways) Sandeep Shandilya said, "There was no involvement of outside anti-social elements and the attacks were carried out by the army aspirants who were misled by the heads of coaching institutes." A total of 46 people have been arrested in the arson at Secunderabad railway station.

Uttar Pradesh

The police have made 387 arrests in cases related to violent demonstrations. Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said that the police have registered 34 FIRs till Sunday.

Gujarat

Police informed that 14 people have been detained for gathering without permission against the Agneepath scheme. Around 100 people had gathered in the Meghaninagar area of ​​the city.


Uttarakhand

A case has been registered against 300 to 400 unidentified people for alleged violent protests on the Nainital National Highway on Friday. Police said the young protesters had turned violent. They told that they were misbehaving and manhandling the police and the visitors. At the same time, the police have said that the protesters damaged public properties.
