It's time for 5G to arrive in India. However, 5G trials by telecom companies are going on in full swing. Meanwhile, news has come out that the government has also started preparations for the trial of 6G network of mobiles in the country. Actually, the Telecom Department has entrusted the responsibility for this to the Government Telecom Research Company C-DoT. C-DOT has been directed to start work on 6G network of mobiles. Telecom Secretary K Rajaraman has asked C-DoT to consider all the technical possibilities related to 6G. It is ordered to be completed on time so as to compete with the big companies in terms of 6G network in the world markets.

6G may come by 2030

Many companies in the world such as Samsung, Hawaii, LG and other companies have started work on 6G technology long ago. At the same time, it is believed that 6G technology will come with download speed up to 50 times than 5G technology. Apart from this, there is an estimate that by 2028-30, 6G technology will be launched all over the world. Apart from this, 5G trials are also going on in many countries including India. But, the direction given by the Telecom Department to start work on 6G is nothing less than a shocking news.

Let us tell you that the data download speed of 5G can go up to 20 gigabits per second (gbps). But it is not completely clear how much mobile companies give. Recently, the highest data download speed of 3.7 Gbps was recorded in the 5G trial conducted by Vodafone Idea. Apart from this, Airtel recently conducted 5G trials in rural areas.

LG did 6G trial

Let us tell you that a joint effort of LG and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft was organized in the city of Berlin, Germany. During this test, data on 6G technology was transferred from Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) to Berlin Institute of Technology. This distance was about 100 meters and in this both the sending and receiving of data tests have been successful. This test was not done inside any lab but outside in the open.
