New Delhi: A cricketer succumbed to an accident during Australia's domestic tournament. These events took place on 23 March at the WACA Ground in Perth, Marsh One-Day Cup 2021. There was a match between Western Australia and Victoria. Josh Inglis hit a strong shot while the Western Australia team was batting. In an attempt to stop the outpost, the Victoria team's fielder Mackenzie Harvey collided with a concrete fence, injuring him.

After this accident, batsman Josh Inglis exemplified the spirit of the game and ran towards the boundary. The rest of the cricketers and medical staff of the Victoria team also arrived there. Mackenzie Harvey then appeared rubbing elbows and back towards the dressing room. However, he later batting and scored 6 runs.

The ground staff accidentally did so because the edges of the boundary were not covered with foam. In most international matches and Big Bash League matches, the boundary line is covered with foam or soft material to avoid such accidents.
