Snake Found In Food / A family from Kerala had ordered food from the hotel, got skins as soon as the packing was opened

A shocking case has come to light from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. There was a ruckus when snake skin was found in the food ordered from a hotel. After this the hotel has been temporarily closed. It is being told that the incident is of May 5.


According to the information, a family located at Nedumangad in Thiruvananthapuram had ordered food from Shalimar Hotel. When the food reached them, it was packed with newspapers all around the food. When its packing was opened, snake skin was found in it. After this, the whole matter was complained by the family, after which the hotel has been temporarily closed. Along with this, instructions have been given to the hotel management that unless the hotel is completely cleaned, the hotel will not be opened.


There was no cleanliness in the hotel

On the complaint of the family, the Food Safety Officer inspected the hotel. Officer Arshita Bashir said that the hotel was inspected. During this it was found that the hotel had the necessary documents, but the staff was working in very bad condition. There was not enough lighting in the kitchen. Waste was also thrown there. After this, a show cause notice has been issued to the hotel management. Apart from this, the remaining food has been sent to the lab for examination. Further action will be taken once the report is received. A similar case had also come to light from Hyderabad, when a complaint of worm found in sweets ordered from order came to the fore.
