A massive fire broke out in a clothing shop in Mathura's Vrindavan in the early hours of Monday. A fire broke out in a shop near the Banke Bihari temple. People came out of the houses. On information, the police and fire brigade reached and started extinguishing the fire. The fire could be extinguished after a lot of effort. By then, property worth lakhs was burnt to ashes by the fire.

The incident happened around five in the morning

There is a costume shop located in the old city between Thakur Banke Bihari Temple and Radhaballabh Temple in Vrindavan. The fire broke out in the shop around 5 am on Monday. When people saw the flames rising from the shop, there was a stir. Local people started trying to douse the fire. Police and fire tenders also reached on information.

The goods kept in the shop burnt to ashes

The fire brigade extinguished the fire after a lot of effort, but by then all the goods kept in the shop were burnt. It is being told that there has been a loss of lakhs of rupees due to the fire. The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit. Fortunately, no other shop came in the grip of the fire, otherwise there would have been a major accident.
