The Meteorological Department, including Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, has issued an alert for heavy rains in 20 states of the country for the next 24 hours. Here, after heavy rains, the effect of spate in the rivers is also being seen in many areas from Noida, Ghaziabad to Saharanpur, Hapur and Punjab-Haryana adjacent to Delhi.

The effect of Yamuna's boom in Noida-Ghaziabad

The situation has become uncontrollable due to the breach of Yamuna embankment near Ghaziabad. The situation is worst in Ghaziabad's Loni. The whole area is looking submerged. Hundreds of acres of fields have been submerged and water has also entered houses. Vehicles parked outside have been submerged. At least 200 factories in the area have had to be shut down. At the same time, the effect of boom in Yamuna is also being seen in Noida adjacent to Delhi. About 3500 people trapped in different colonies in Noida were rescued after the water level increased.

Ganga's water level increased due to mountain rain

At the same time, the heavy rains in the mountains have also affected the river Ganga. Water has spread in the villages after the rise in the water level of Ganga near Garhmukteshwar in Hapur. Roads have been submerged and crops have also suffered huge damage. There is already a shortage of fodder for the cattle. Apart from this, after heavy rains in Uttarakhand for the last two days, there is a possibility of further increase in the water level of Ganga. There is a red alert for rain in Haridwar, Dehradun and Tehri today. This is the reason why the government has appealed to the tourists to be careful. Along with this, traffic has been stopped on many routes. In Roorkee, after the dam of Sonali river broke, water spread in many areas. People are facing difficulty in movement after heavy waterlogging on the roads.

After the disaster in Himachal Pradesh, rain alert again

Devbhoomi Himachal has not even recovered from the disaster on July 9 that once again there is an orange alert for heavy rains in 10 districts of Himachal for today. Let us tell you that after the disaster on July 9, signs of devastation are visible in many parts of Himachal Pradesh including Kullu and Manali. Bodies of 24 disaster victims have been recovered in Kullu. Himachal has suffered a loss of more than 5000 crores due to rain from the sky.

Disaster reached from Punjab to Madhya Pradesh

Apart from this, the effect of rains in the hilly states is also being seen in Punjab. In Sangrur, the Chandpura dam of Mansa breached due to the spate of the Ghaggar river, after which Sangrur and Delhi National Highway-52 were cut off. After continuous rains for several days, water has also entered Kedarnath Jatashankar Dham located in Chhatarpur of MP. In the Shiv temple called Kedarnath of Bundelkhand, nature performed Jalabhishek of God, then the rain water started flowing in the form of a waterfall.
