Mahakumbh 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of Mahakumbh these days. On this historic occasion, he took a dip in the Sangam along with his cabinet. This video of Sangam bath is becoming increasingly viral on social media. During this, both the Deputy CMs of the state were also present with him. Yogi Adityanath held a cabinet meeting before the Sangam bath, in which many important decisions were taken regarding the development of the state and the preparations for the Mahakumbh.Lakhs of devotees have participated in Sangam bath so farFrom the beginning of Mahakumbh till January 21, 9.24 crore devotees have taken a bath in Sangam. On January 21 alone, more than 30.47 lakh devotees reached Sangam. These include 10 lakh Kalpvasis and 20.47 lakh pilgrims.Main decisions taken in the cabinet meetingIn this special cabinet meeting held in Prayagraj, many important proposals related to the progress of the state and Mahakumbh were passed. The major decisions taken in the meeting are as follows:Establishment of new medical college: Medical colleges will be opened in Baghpat, Kasganj and Hathras districts.Issuance of Municipal Corporation Bonds: Decision to issue bonds for Prayagraj, Varanasi and Agra Municipal Corporations.Digital Devices for Youth: Smartphones and tablets will be distributed to the youth.Infrastructure Connectivity: Bundelkhand Expressway and Chitrakoot will be connected to Ganga Expressway.New Aerospace Defense Policy: A new policy will be prepared to promote investment in the defense and aerospace sector in the state.Development of Prayagraj: A new Signature Bridge will be built on the Yamuna river.Repetition of 2019 experienceThis is not the first time that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has held a cabinet meeting during the Maha Kumbh. In the 2019 Ardh Kumbh too, he took a bath in the Ganga at Sangam with his entire cabinet. Yogi Adityanath is personally inspecting the arrangements for the Maha Kumbh and is holding frequent meetings with officials.Mahakumbh 2025: Better arrangements and securityThe state government has made unprecedented efforts for the preparations of Mahakumbh 2025. Extensive arrangements have been made to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
