Lok Sabha Election: Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections has started from today. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has filed his nomination from Gandhi Nagar seat of Gujarat. During this time, BJP's Gujarat CM Bhupendra Bhai Patel and many MLAs and many BJP leaders were present with him. Shah spoke to the media after filing his nomination.

PM Modi is a voter from Gandhinagar seat

He said that today I have filed my nomination from Gandhinagar seat. It is a matter of pride for me that the seat which LK Advani or Lal Krishna Advani, Atal ji has represented and Narendra Modi ji himself is a voter from here. Got a chance to represent from that seat. For 30 years, I became MLA and MP from Gandhinagar and did a lot of work for the public. The people here give me a lot of love. I have reached Parliament from a small booth worker.

The BJP government has done a lot of work under the leadership of Modi, first as CM and later as PM. In 5 years, development work worth more than Rs 22 thousand crores was done in Gandhinagar area. I am very satisfied that whenever I have come to seek votes for the party and for myself from the people of the area, they have blessed me wholeheartedly and have always made me win with a very strong majority.

Voting will take place in the third phase

For information, let us tell you that voting for all 26 seats in Gujarat will be held on a single day. Voting on all seats in Gujarat is to be held in the third phase on May 7. If we talk about the last Lok Sabha elections, then in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Gandhinagar, Amit Shah had defeated Congress candidate Dr. C.J. Chavda by a margin of more than 50 thousand.
