Eid 2022 / Announcement of Darul Uloom Deoband Eid will be celebrated on 3 May

Eid 2022 | Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest festival of Muslims after the completion of Muqaddas Ramadan, will be celebrated on Tuesday. Due to the absence of Eid moon on Sunday, Eid will now be on Tuesday, May 3. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr in Saudi Arabia will take place on May 2. Mohtamim Maulana Abdul Khaliq Madrasi, the caretaker of Darul Uloom Deoband, after the meeting of the Ruyte Hilal Committee, declared Buroj to be Eid on Tuesday.

It was difficult to see the moon of Eid since Sunday evening. But there was no sight of the moon from anywhere. Therefore, the Ulema-e-Din announced fasting on Monday, May 2, and Eid on May 3. The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has also announced to celebrate Eid on May 2. Eid is usually celebrated in India a day after Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, according to Shahqazi Jainus Sajidin in Meerut and Qazi Nadeem Akhtar of Saharanpur city, Eid has been announced on May 3 if there is no sight of the moon till 8.30 pm. The Ulema has appealed to the faithful to offer Eid prayers inside the Idgah and mosques.

30 days in a row

According to the Ulema, the festival of Eid is being held for the third consecutive year after thirty days. This time the fasting of Ramadan lasted for 14 and a half hours in the midst of the heat of shiddat. Earlier, Eid usually used to take place after the 29th fast, but for the last three years, the festival of Eid is happening after 30 days.
