NEW DELHI: Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that all the preparations required to start vaccination for Covid-19 have been done in the national capital.Over 50 lakh people, including healthcare and frontline workers will be inoculated in Phase-1."Delhi govt has completed all preparations and is ready for vaccination. There are around 51 lakh people including healthcare and frontline workers who would get vaccine in the first phase. The process of identification of all such people is almost complete," said Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.Currently, Delhi has capacity to store about 74 lakh doses of the vaccine"We would need 1.02 crore doses of vaccine for the first phase of vaccination since each person will get two doses. We have the capacity to store 74 lakh doses but which will be increased to 1.15 crore within one week," added Kejriwal.In a major relief for the health agencies in Delhi, the national capital has been witnessing below 1,000 positive cases for the last three days.
