Both were questioned separately for marathons. According to ED sources, the location of many other properties has been found in the interrogation. Apart from the last two flats, two more flats have been found in Belgharia. ED sources said that they have been sealed.

Another house raided on Thursday

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) late Thursday evening raided another apartment belonging to Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee, in the Chinar Park area of ​​the city. An official gave this information. The ED raided Mukherjee's flat a day after it recovered around Rs 28 crore in cash. The central agency has arrested Mukherjee in connection with the investigation into the alleged school recruitment scam.

Last week, the ED had seized unaccounted cash worth over Rs 21 crore from another flat in the city. "This (Chinar Park) apartment belongs to Arpita Mukherjee and we suspect that like her other flats, cash may be deposited here too," the ED official said. We are talking to the neighbors and trying to find out what kind of activities have been done here.

1000 crore rupees teacher recruitment scam

According to ED sources, this entire scam can reach 1000 crores. This includes not only the teachers' recruitment money, but also Partha Chatterjee's money invested in real estate. Right now the ED team can raid 15 more places. Here the ED has also summoned TMC MLA Manik Bhattacharya for questioning today.

Documents related to real estate were also found

ED sources said that Partha Chatterjee continued to take only green tea and biscuits for 5 days after his arrest. He had eaten lentils and roti on Wednesday night. His flats in Chinarpark and Nayabad were also searched on Thursday evening.

According to sources, documents related to 2 real estate have been found from these places. Investigation has revealed that the money received from the teacher recruitment scam was being invested in real estate. A gold ring has also been found by the agency from Arpita's flat, on which P is written. The agency will also question him about this ring.
