A painful news has come out from Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Where the happiness of marriage in a house turned into mourning. 23-year-old Poonam Kumari was to be married on July 16. The wedding preparations were going on in full swing at home. On Wednesday night, the Haldi ceremony also went well. The family was very happy with the marriage of the daughter. But after some time the bride Poonam died due to snake bite.

After the Haldi ceremony, Poonam went to sleep in her room. There, a poisonous snake was hiding somewhere, this snake bitten Poonam and Poonam died. On Thursday, Poonam's father Satyendra Prasad had to lift his daughter's vehicle from the house from where the doli was to be lifted.


Poonam cried loudly after the snake bite, immediately the family members reached her room and she was immediately taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him brought dead. After which weeds spread amidst the happiness of marriage in Kulbeda village of Barwada police station area.

Poonam's family members told that she was a student of BSS Women's College, Dhanbad. She was to be married on July 16, about which there was an atmosphere of happiness in the house. But Poonam died due to snake bite. The family members are in bad condition by crying.

Villagers say that snakes keep coming in people's houses due to rain. So far many people have died in this area due to snake bites. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after Poonam's death. People are unable to sleep due to fear. People feel that snakes should not come in their house.

Several cases of snakebite have been reported from Dhanbad and adjoining areas. People have been constantly being alerted by the administration. But it is a big challenge for the people living around the forest to protect themselves from snakes. They have to pay the price of one mistake with their lives.
