But in the same Odisha, a case of shame to humanity has come to the fore. A woman residing in MCA Jagriti Vihar Colony in Burla area of ​​Sambalpur district has been accused of killing six dogs by allegedly poisoning them. Union Minister Maneka Gandhi has also demanded strict action in this matter. He has asked Sambalpur SP Batula Gangadhar to take strict action against the woman.

SP Gangadhar has confirmed this to India Today. He told, "A case was registered in this matter even before their call. We are probing. We have sent the viscera to the lab to find out whether the dogs have poison in their stomach or not? What if the poison was found? If so, then it will be found out how they were poisoned?"

He told that in this case a complaint has been lodged against a woman by an organization named People for Animals.

According to the information, on May 29, some people living in the colony had complained about a woman to an organization named People for Animals. The residents of the colony alleged that a few days ago some stray dogs had torn the seat of her car, which angered the woman. The residents of the colony had accused the woman of poisoning the dogs. After this, a complaint was lodged with the police on behalf of the institution.

Meanwhile, the police said that CCTV footage of the colony is being examined and efforts are on to find out how the dogs died.
