Steve Smith hits 12th ODI century

Earlier, former captain Steve Smith scored a century of 105 runs. Smith hit 11 fours and a six in 131 balls during his innings. This is Smith's first century in ODIs after nearly two years. This is his 12th century in ODI cricket. He completed his century in 127 balls. He put on a 118-run partnership for the third wicket with Marnus Labuschagne (52) to take the team from the initial blows. Smith also shared a 69-run partnership with Alex Carey (42 not out). As a result, Australia posted a challenging total of 267 for five.
