Batting first after losing the toss in the match played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, Bangladesh scored 306 runs losing eight wickets in 50 overs and gave Australia a target of 307 runs. In reply, Australia achieved the target by losing two wickets in 44.4 overs.
