India vs Bangladesh 1st Test: The Indian Test team is currently playing a two-match series in Bangladesh. In the first innings of the opening Test match of this series, Team India scored 404 runs. No player could complete the century but three cricketers definitely tried. Ravichandran Ashwin was the most impressed all-rounder who faced 113 balls and scored 58 runs hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes. Another all-rounder was fielded above Ashwin but he returned to the pavilion after scoring only 14 runs.

Akshar Patel disappointed

Team India's all-rounder Akshar Patel disappointed in the first innings of this Test match in Chittagong. Acting captain KL Rahul sent him at number 7 after Shreyas Iyer but he was dismissed after scoring 14 runs. Akshar faced 26 balls and hit 2 fours in his innings. The special thing is that experienced Ravichandran Ashwin, who came after Shreyas Iyer and Akshar, scored half-centuries. Iyer contributed 86 while Ashwin contributed 58 runs but Akshar failed to impress.

Will the leaves be cut after Jadeja's return?

Veteran Ravindra Jadeja is injured, due to which Team India's playing-XI is being reshuffled. When Jadeja returns, Akshar Patel's slot may be at risk. Not only this, it will also be difficult to get a place in his playing-11. Kuldeep Yadav also seems to be the main reason for this. Even though Kuldeep scored 40 runs in this match, if Team India could cross the score of 400, then Kuldeep had a big contribution in it.

Such is Akshar's career

Akshar Patel, 28, is counted as a bowling-all-rounder. He bowls left arm spin and bats left handed. He is playing the 7th Test match of his career. Akshar has previously played 46 ODIs and 37 T20 Internationals. He has taken 55 wickets in ODIs and 34 wickets in T20 international cricket. He has also scored one half-century in ODIs and two in T20 Internationals.
