In village Tor village of the district, a husband beat up his wife for not having children and threw her out of the house. The injured married woman has been admitted by the relatives to the emergency ward of the district hospital. The accused husband told the victim that if she could not have a child, he did not need her.

The 25-year-old married woman told that she was married three years ago. After marriage, she did not have children, so her husband started beating her every day after drinking alcohol. Other family members are also harassing her physically and mentally by taunting her.

The victim told that late on Tuesday night, the husband reached home under the influence of alcohol and beat her with a stick. After beating her, her husband said that if you cannot have children, then leave the house. After this the victim informed the family members about the incident. The family members of the injured have admitted the victim to the emergency ward of the district hospital. Till now the victim has not registered a case in the police station. Here, Sadar police station in-charge Deepak Kumar told that legal action will be taken against the accused on the complaint made by the victim.
