IND vs ENG: The third match in the Test series being played between India and England is to be played in Rajkot from 15th February. Even though the series is currently tied at 1.1, the problems of the Indian team are not showing any signs of abating. There are still three days left for the third Test, but before that another huge blow has been dealt. It has been learned that the star player KL Rahul, who was selected in the team, is now out of the third match. Although nothing has been said about this yet by BCCI, it is believed that an announcement will be made soon. Also, any other player can be included in the team as his replacement.

Rahul's injury is not completely healed yet

KL Rahul played his first test for the Indian team, where he also batted well. It is another matter that he was not successful in making the team win. He got injured during the first test itself. After this he had to be ruled out of the second test. The team was announced by BCCI for the first two tests only. After this, when BCCI announced the team for the remaining three Test matches, along with Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul was also included in the team, but the condition was kept with him that he would play only if he was completely fit. Now it has come to light that KL Rahul will not be able to play even the third test at the moment. Such claim is being made in a report of Indian Express.

Devdutt Padikkal may get a chance in the test series

It has also been learned that KL Rahul's replacement can also be announced. Devdutt Padikkal's name has been given for this in the report. Devdutt Padikkal has played two T20 International matches for the Indian team so far, but he is waiting for his debut in ODI and Test. In first-class cricket, Devdutt Padikkal has scored four centuries and one half-century in six matches. His highest score is 193. In such a situation, there is every possibility of him getting a chance. However, for this we should still wait for the announcement from BCCI.
