Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on a three-day visit to Germany, Denmark and France from May 2. During this he will attend 25 events and during the three-day visit he will spend around 65 hours in those countries. Let us tell you that this visit is the first visit of PM Modi this year. At the same time, a day before leaving for the tour, PM Modi told the purpose of this visit. PM Modi said that my visit to Europe is taking place at a time when the region is facing many challenges. PM Modi said that through my engagements, I intend to strengthen the spirit of cooperation with European partners. European partners are important partners in the pursuit of peace and prosperity in India.


PM told the purpose of the visit

PM Modi said that I will also participate in the second India-Nordic Summit with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway. The summit will focus on topics such as post-pandemic economic recovery, climate change, renewable energy, etc. PM Modi said that we will co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC), a unique biennial format that India organizes only with Germany. Several Indian ministers will also visit Germany and hold discussions with their German counterparts. In addition, my visit to Berlin will focus on having detailed bilateral discussions with Chancellor Scholz. Whom I met last year at the G20.


I will also meet French President Macron during my return visit: PM

PM Modi said that during my return visit, I will stop in Paris to meet my friend and French President Macron. This will also give us an opportunity to outline the next phase of the India-French Strategic Partnership.


PM Modi will also interact with 50 global businessmen

During his visit, PM Modi will hold bilateral and multilateral meetings with eight leaders from seven countries. Apart from this, he will also interact with 50 global businessmen, he added. Modi will leave for a three-day visit to Germany, Denmark and France on May 2. This is his first foreign trip to be held this year.
