Coronavirus Update / Big increase in corona cases, 40.9 percent more new patients were found than yesterday

Corona Cases in India: Corona cases have started increasing once again. In the last 24 hours, more than 5 thousand (5233) corona patients have appeared. This number is 40.9 percent higher than Tuesday. 7 more patients have also died due to corona. At present, there are 28,857 active cases of corona in India. In the last 24 hours, 1881 active cases have increased.

The states where Kovid cases are coming out the most include the names of Maharashtra (1881 new cases), Kerala (1494), Delhi (450), Karnataka (348) and Haryana (227). Out of the total new cases reported today, 84.08 percent are from these states. Maharashtra alone accounts for 35.94 percent of the total new cases.

There have been 7 new deaths in India in the last 24 hours. So far more than five lakh (5,24,715) deaths have occurred due to corona in the country.

How many vaccines have been given in India?

The emphasis is on the corona vaccine for the prevention of Kovid. In the last 24 hours, more than 14 lakh 94 thousand vaccines have been administered in the country. So far, more than 194 crore (1,94,43,26,416) Kovid vaccines have been administered in the country.

As far as testing is concerned, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 3,13,361 sample tests were done for corona virus in India yesterday, till yesterday a total of 85,35,22,623 sample tests have been done.
