Bihar government canceled the leave of teachers

And before this, the Bihar government has canceled the holidays of all the teachers for a week. The education department has also requested the district magistrates of the state to inspect all government schools in their respective districts on Thursday to check the attendance of teachers. On this, the BJP has alleged that this order has been issued by the department to prevent teachers from participating in BJP's statewide protest against the government's new teacher recruitment policy.

"Teachers' leave canceled to stop participation in protest"

On the other hand, BJP's Bihar unit spokesperson Nikhil Anand said, "We are also protesting against many other anti-people policies of the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government. These circulars have been issued to prevent the participation of teachers in the protests. This reflects the dictatorial mindset of the Nitish Kumar government. It is an undeclared emergency in the state."

Order to identify the protesting teachers

It is noteworthy that on July 11, teacher candidates demonstrated in Patna against the recent decision of the Nitish Kumar government to remove the domicile policy in the recruitment of 1.7 lakh teachers. Some teachers were also involved in this, the education department has asked its district education officers to identify those teachers.
