Assembly Elections 2023: An important meeting of BJP on the strategy of Rajasthan Assembly elections has started in Jaipur. Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda are taking this meeting. Apart from these leaders, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Rajendra Rathore, Satish Poonia, Arun Singh, Vijaya Rahatkar, co-in-charge Nitin Patel, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore are also present. In this meeting, feedback is being taken from state BJP leaders. The atmosphere created after Parivartan Yatra is being discussed.

There may be churning on the names of candidates

According to the information, the first list of BJP candidates for the assembly elections may be finalized in this meeting. There can also be discussion on when the list of candidates should be released. The party is expected to discuss the outline of upcoming programmes. There can also be discussion on fielding MPs in the assembly elections. Apart from this, the election management of the core committee is also expected to be discussed.

Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan later this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 'Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha' in Jaipur district on Monday. The Mahasabha was organized on the occasion of the conclusion of four Parivartan Yatras taken out in all the 200 assembly constituencies.

Candidates will be announced soon

Earlier on Tuesday, BJP's Rajasthan election in-charge Union Minister Prahlad Joshi had said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will soon announce its candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. Along with this, he accused Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of tarnishing the reputation of the state. On the question of BJP making Union ministers and MPs candidates in the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, he said, "When we hold a meeting about the ticket in Rajasthan, it will be discussed and the ticket will be announced very soon." Accusation of tarnishing the reputation of the state

Joshi accused Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of tarnishing the reputation of the state and said that the Chief Minister has no control over the administration. Referring to the incident of rape and murder of a minor in Sikar and suicide by a girl in Hanumangarh, he said, “The respect and reputation of Rajasthan is getting spoiled all over the world. The Chief Minister is tarnishing the reputation of Rajasthan.” He said that the Chief Minister has no control over the administration.
