India has taken another important step in the war against Coronavirus. From Friday, the country is starting a campaign to provide free preventive doses to the eligible adult population. This information has been given by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The ministry has informed that under the 'Kovid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav', the vaccine will be administered for 75 days from July 15 to September 30, 2022.

The special thing is that this special vaccination campaign is part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which aims to provide free booster dose to all adult population at government centers. Talking to news agency ANI, Nodal Officer Dr Vijay Panigrahi said, "It is starting from today and will continue for the next 75 days. Gahm is trying to vaccinate all citizens in the age group of 18 to 59 years.

Campaign will run in mission mode

According to the information given by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday, states and union territories have been asked to run this campaign in mission mode. Along with this, the government has talked about more Kovid vaccination camps during this period than before. According to the release, 'Eligible people for the precautionary dose include all persons 18 years of age or older who have completed 6 months (or 26 weeks) of time after the date of the second dose'.

Special attention will be given to travel

Under this campaign, the government has asked the states and union territories to pay special attention to travel. According to the ministry, 'Special vaccination camps will be organized on the routes of Char Dham Yatra (Uttarakhand), Amarnath Yatra (Jammu and Kashmir), Kanwar Yatra (all states/UTs of North-India) as well as major fairs and mass gatherings. was advised.
