Anurag Thakur: In the midst of political uproar over the Manipur incident, Union Minister Anurag Thakur has hit back at the opposition for increasing crimes against women in Bihar, Rajasthan and Bengal. Anurag Thakur has said that atrocities against women are increasing in Bihar. In Rajasthan too, more than 10 lakh incidents were registered. Anurag Thakur said that when a minister in Rajasthan asked questions to his own government, he was dismissed. There is an atmosphere of chaos in the state now.

Anurag Thakur said that what happened in Begusarai is in front of us. Nitish Kumar did not say a word on the incident. At the same time, Rajasthan is at number one in terms of crime against women. There have been 1.09 lakh cases of crime against women here in the last four years. 22 percent of rape cases in India have come from Rajasthan alone. Instead of taking action against the criminals, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot sacked one of his ministers who was raising his voice on crime against women.

Women paraded naked in Howrah – Thakur

The Union Minister mentioned the violence against women in West Bengal. Said that the work of grabbing power through murder and violence was done in Bengal.
