Let us inform that on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi Police has provided Z plus security to Chief Defense Chief (CDS) General Anil Chauhan. General Chauhan took over as the second CDS of India on Friday. The goal before him is to coordinate between the three wings of the armed forces and the creation of an ambitious 'theatre' command, so that the country's forces can be prepared to deal with future security challenges.

150 security personnel will always be deployed

After getting Z plus security, now 150 security personnel will always be deployed in the security of CDS Anil Chauhan. All these security personnel will have different security force personnel. Along with 10 sharp-edged NSG commandos, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, CRPF and Delhi Police personnel will take care of the security. There will also be SPG commandos in this security circle. The first responsibility of security rests with the NSG. Then comes the SPG number. 33 armed police personnel of Delhi Police will always guard Chouhan. The same security arrangements will be made for the CDS during the journey along with the house.

Important responsibility received after the death of CDS Rawat

A senior police officer said that on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan has been provided Z plus security. General Chauhan has been the head of the Eastern Command of the Army. More than nine months after the death of India's first CDS General Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu, General Chauhan has assumed the responsibility of the senior-most military commander.
