Rajasthan News: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot hoisted the flag for the 15th time in the state level program on the occasion of 77th Independence Day. In the programme, while enumerating the schemes and achievements of the government, the Chief Minister said that our schemes are being discussed across the country. In the program, the Chief Minister also made several announcements regarding Ramgarh Dam in Jaipur, promotion in Rajasthan Police and Chiranjeevi Rakshak Yojana. He said that those who molest women will be treated like history-sheeters. Photos of such accused will be displayed in police stations and they will not get government jobs.

Addressing the program, Gehlot said that we have given one scheme for public welfare. Minimum Income Scheme Guarantee Act has been implemented for social security. At the same time, PM Modi has also been demanded to implement the Social Security Act across the country.

Chief Minister's big announcements

  • The Ramgarh Dam will be filled from the Isarda Dam under the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). Rs 1250 crore will be spent on this. Due to which drinking water scheme can be made for Aandhi, Jamvaramgarh, Amer, Chaksu, Govindgarh, Shahpura, Viratnagar, Paota, Kotputli blocks of Jaipur district and Thanagaji and Bansur blocks of Alwar district. On the other hand, 53 dams in Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bharatpur and Alwar districts will be filled by connecting them with ERCP. This will increase the project cost of ERCP by Rs 1665 crore and will benefit 11 lakh farmers in 13 assembly constituencies.
  • A survey of destitute families was conducted during Kovid and financial assistance of Rs 5500 was given to about 33 lakh NFSA and non-NFSA families. The CM has announced that along with the NFSA families, the non-NFSA families who were given financial assistance in Kovid, will also be provided free ration kits under the Annapurna Ration Kit scheme starting from today.
  • The current Chiranjeevi Jeevan Rakshak Yojana is going on in the state, through which ₹ 5000 and a citation are given to the people injured in road accidents who take them to the hospital at the right time. Now in this scheme, the honorarium has been increased to Rs 10,000.
  • With the aim of women empowerment and reducing the digital divide in the state, under the Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana, 40 lakh girls and women are being given smartphones in the first phase. In the next phase of this scheme, according to the budget announcement, about 1 crore more women will be given smartphones. For whose guarantee, guarantee cards will be given from August 20. By showing whom she will be able to take her smartphone free of cost in the next step.
  • On the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence, all the policemen from the level of constable to the Director General of Police will be given a special “Rajasthan Police Panchsati Medal” to mark the completion of 75 years of formation of Rajasthan Police. Now the promotion from the post of constable to police inspector in the police department will also be done through time bound DPC.
'I feel a responsibility'

Gehlot said – Government jobs are being given to the children of those who died in Kovid. We have paid special attention to social security. Insurance up to 25 lakhs is available in Chiranjeevi Yojana. We have given compensation up to 40 thousand per cow for death of cow from Lumpi. The people of the state trusted me and entrusted me with the responsibility of CM, I feel that responsibility. Today the Rajasthan model is being praised all over the world.

Flag hoisting by Congress-BJP at Badi Chaupar

According to the tradition that has been going on for years, flag hoisting takes place on behalf of Congress BJP parties at Badi Chaupar in Jaipur. PCC President Govind Singh Dotasara hoisted the flag at Badi Chaupar at 8 am.

During this, Jaipur City District President RR Tiwari, Jaipur Rural District President Gopal Meena, MLA Rafiq Khan, RCA President Vaibhav Gehlot, Rajsico Chairman Rajeev Arora and other PCC office bearers and workers were present.

Leader of the Opposition Rajendra Rathore hoisted the flag at Badi Chaupar at 8:30 am. During this, party state president CP Joshi, deputy leader of opposition Satish Poonia, MP Ramcharan Bohra, MLA Ashok Lahoti and other BJP officials and workers were present.

The Governor hoisted the flag at Raj Bhavan

Apart from this, Governor Kalraj Mishra hoisted the flag at Raj Bhavan at 9.15 am. In the evening, an At Home program will also be organized by the Governor at Raj Bhavan. In which CM Ashok Gehlot can also participate.

At the same time, this time there is a lot of enthusiasm for Independence Day in the new districts. In view of this, the government has given the responsibility of hoisting the flag in 15 new districts to the ministers. Except for Jaipur Rural and Jodhpur Rural, ministers will hoist the flag in all the other new districts.

Independence Day Celebration at High Court

The 77th Independence Day celebrations were also organized in the Rajasthan High Court. Chief Justice AG Masih and Justice MM Srivastava in Jaipur bench hoisted the flag at 8:30 am in Jodhpur, the main bench of the High Court.

Other judges of the bench, president and general secretary of the bar, registry staff, advocates and employees were present at both the places. Apart from this, the district judge hoisted the flag in all the district courts of the state.

Minister hoisting tricolor in 29 districts

Ministers are hoisting the flag in 29 out of 50 districts of the state. And in the remaining 20 districts, the District Collector will hoist the flag. After the formation of new districts, Independence Day celebrations are being organized for the first time in them.

In such a situation, the state government has given the responsibility of hoisting the flag here to the ministers. In 29 districts where the ministers have been given the responsibility of hoisting the flag. They include 15 new districts.
