Uttar Pradesh News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the world famous Khichdi fair to be held on Makar Sankranti at Gorakhnath temple. While conducting a site inspection of the entire temple complex and the fair complex, the Chief Minister inquired about each and every arrangement and directed the concerned responsible that there should not be any laxity in the convenience, convenience and security of the devotees.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath suddenly reached Gorakhpur from Lucknow on Tuesday night. After paying obeisance to Guru Gorakshanath in the Gorakhnath temple and bowing his head at the tomb of his Gurudev Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath, he inquired about the preparations for the Khichdi fair.

Instructions regarding cleaning

While inspecting the fair premises of the temple, he saw the barricading for the convenience of the devotees and gave necessary instructions. Along with this, he also instructed about cleanliness at the higher places of the temple building. After visiting the entire temple complex, the Chief Minister also reached the fair complex. Here also he examined all the arrangements.

Arrangement instructions for devotees

During this, he told the people associated with the temple management and the officials present on the spot that it should be our priority to take care of the safety, comfort and convenience of every devotee coming to the world famous Khichdi fair. He said that in view of the cold weather, a large number of bonfires should also be lit in public places while making arrangements for adequate beds, blankets etc. in rain shelters for the devotees.
