New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals' star all-rounder Rahul Tewatia on Monday tied the knot with Ridhi Pannu. Tewatia himself posted wedding pictures on social media, which has gone viral. The adorable couple got engaged in February, earlier this year.

Star cricketers Rishabh Pant, Nitish Rana and Yuzvendra Chahal attended the ceremony to congratulate the couple. For the unversed, Rahul Tewatia is an important player of franchise Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He came into the limelight by hitting five sixes off five consecutive balls against Punjab Kings in an IPL 2020 game.

Rahul Tewatia, who hails from Haryana, is an all-rounder. He is a right-arm spinner and a left-arm explosive batsman. He made his first-class cricket debut in the 2013-14 Ranji Trophy. Looking at the recent performance of Rahul Tewatia, he played an innings of 46 runs off 25 balls against Andhra Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Haryana was able to win this match by 6 wickets on the back of his knock.

Rahul Tewatia was part of Team India in the T20 series against England earlier this year.  Although he did not get a chance to play a single match.

IPL 2022 auction: Rahul Tewatia might leave Rajasthan Royals

There is a suspense on which team Rahul Tewatia will play in the 15th season of IPL, because before IPL 2022, players are going to take part in the mega auction, after which it's highly possible that many star players will not be seen playing for their old franchise. As per rules, every team can retain a maximum of four players ahead of the auction.
