In Jamshedpur's school, a copying teacher checked the Dalit girl's clothes by taking off her clothes in front of the entire class on suspicion of copying. After reaching home, the injured student locked herself in the room and set herself on fire by spraying kerosene. The relatives admitted the seriously burnt girl to the hospital. Where he died during treatment on Saturday. The girl had suffered more than eighty percent burns. Angered by the incident, the family members and local people demonstrated in front of the DEO office and demanded action against the accused teacher.

The teacher of a student studying in Class IX at Shardamani Girls' School in Sakchi, Jamshedpur had got her clothes removed on suspicion of copying. No slip was found from the student but she was very hurt due to the incident. In such a situation, after coming home, he set himself on fire. Treatment was going on at TMH. The minor had suffered more than eighty per cent burns. He died on Saturday morning at 11.30 am. Hundreds of people were creating ruckus from school to DEO office in protest against the incident. There is a possibility of anger and flare-up after the death. Security has been increased from the hospital to the DEO office. School has been closed. The teacher's dismissal has been ordered.

Demonstration at DEO Office

After the girl student set herself on fire, her family members and the people of Chhaya Nagar Basti reached the school premises early on Saturday morning. Here the people of the settlement protested. However, the school was not open on Saturday after the incident, so people kept sitting outside the main gate of the school. After sitting here for hours, the people of the settlement went out to protest in front of the DEO office. The people of Basti were demanding action against the accused teacher and the school should pay the cost of her treatment. Angry people locked the DEO office.
