- Pravesh Verma: Pravesh Verma, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi Assembly seat, is considered to be the most prominent contender. His political experience and popularity can go in his favor.
- Satish Upadhyay: Satish Upadhyay, considered to be the Brahmin face of BJP, is also in this race.
- Ashish Sood: Ashish Sood, who represents the Punjabi community, is also emerging as a strong candidate. He has also been a councilor and general secretary of Delhi BJP.
- Jitendra Mahajan: Jitendra Mahajan, who comes from the Vaishya community, is considered close to the RSS, which strengthens his claim.
- Vijendra Gupta: Vijendra Gupta's name is also in the news as the former president of Delhi BJP and the Vaishya face of the party.
