In the 30th match of IPL season-13, Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 13 runs. With this win, Delhi reached the top in the points tally. Delhi defeated Rajasthan in the 5th match in a row. He was also defeated by 46 runs in the first match of this season. Delhi's Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer placed the fifty in the match.


The Delhi team has not lost a season match on Dubai ground. The team has won all 4 matches played here so far. Rajasthan lost 2 out of 3 matches and won one.


Delhi gave a target of 162 runs

Batting first after winning the toss, Delhi gave a target of 162 runs. In response, Rajasthan Royals could manage only 148 runs for 8 wickets. The Rajasthan team started off chasing the target. Ben Stokes scored 41, Robin Uthappa 32, Sanju Samson 25, Jos Buttler 22 and Rahul Tewatia 14 runs.


Nortez threw the fastest ball of the season

Delhi fast bowler Enrich Nortze bowled the fastest speed of this season at 156.2 kmph. Butler hit a four on this. After this, Nortje bowled Butler cleanly by throwing the ball at the speed of 155.1 km per hour, the second fastest of the season.


Samson hit 18 sixes this season.

Dhawan-Iyer took over after a poor start

Ajinkya Rahane was caught by Robin Uthappa for 2 runs. After this, opener Shikhar Dhawan and captain Shreyas Iyer shared an 85-run partnership for 57 balls for the third wicket.

Dhawan scored the highest 57 and Iyer scored 53 runs. It was Dhawan's 39th and Iyer's 15th Fifty in the IPL. For Rajasthan, fast bowler Jofra Archer took 3 wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs. Apart from him, Jaydev Unadkat took 2 wickets, while Karthik Tyagi and Shreyas Gopal took 1-1 wickets.


Dhawan first Indian to put 39th FIFTY in IPL

Dhawan became the first Indian to put a 39th fifty in the IPL. In this case, Dhawan has left behind Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina. The trio have put in 38–38 fifties in the league. Dhawan has become the second player after David Warner (46) to become the highest player in overall FIFTY.


Unadkat took two wickets in the last over of Delhi's innings

Delhi scored 32 runs losing 4 wickets in the last five overs of their innings. During this, Alex Carrie scored 14 and Marcus Stoinis scored 18 runs. In the last over of the innings, Unadkat took two wickets off the last three balls. He sent Alex and Akshar Patel (7 runs) to the pavilion.
