Jharkhand | Direct air service from Deoghar in Jharkhand to Delhi and Delhi to Deoghar started from Saturday. Indigo 180 seater flight 6E 6191 took off from Delhi and reached Deoghar in the evening. Rajeev Pratap Rudy, MP from Saran Lok Sabha constituency of Bihar and Captain Ashutosh Shekhar were the pilots of the aircraft. At the same time, at 4:22 pm, Indigo's aircraft has taken the first flight from Deoghar to Delhi.

According to the information, the Indigo flight from Delhi reached Deoghar airport on the afternoon of July 30. The MPs who reached Deoghar on Saturday were given a grand welcome by the residents of Deoghar.

The first ticket for the first flight from Delhi to Deoghar was made by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. He was accompanied by MP and Bhojpuri film star Manoj Tiwari, Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan, Azamgarh MP Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua, MP Anurag Sharma, MP Parvesh Verma, MP Sunil Singh, MP Kamlesh Paswan and Subrata Pathak, MP Ravindra Kushwaha, former minister Shahnawaz Hussain and Film actor Shekhar Suman and actress Amrapali Dubey also reached Deoghar.

Deoghar Airport is spread over 654 acres

Giving technical information about the Deoghar airport, MP and pilot of the aircraft, Rajiv Pratap Rudhi said that the Deoghar airport, located at an altitude of 802 feet above sea level, is currently spread over 654 acres. The runway is 2620 meters long and 45 meters wide, suitable for both Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft. It may develop into an international airport in the future. A321 Neo planes can also be landed here with the new engine option for international flights to Central Europe. An apron, taxiway and an isolation airport for 2 Airbus A320s has been constructed on 4 thousand square meters of terminal building with a capacity of 200 passengers per hour.
