Lucknow: Dengue records 1936 patients

This year a record 1936 dengue patients have been found in the capital. However, as per government claims, no one has died so far. In the year 2019, 885 dengue patients were found and in 2020 635 patients were found. More patients are admitted in private hospitals than in government ones. In private hospitals operating in Faizullaganj, Chinhat, Dubagga, Madianv, Sarojininagar, Aliganj, Indiranagar Para, Chinhat and Telibagh areas, 80 percent of the patients are admitted for dengue and fever. On Monday, 58 patients were admitted in government hospitals and more than 300 in private hospitals. Before Diwali, more than 30 dengue patients were being received daily in the capital, whereas for the last 10 days, around one and a half dozen patients are being received daily. Private hospitals are also being accused of unnecessarily offering platelets in the name of dengue and charging more bills.

Prayagraj: 926 patients found so far

The havoc of dengue is increasing continuously in Prayagraj. After getting the first patient on July 19, so far 926 patients have been found in the district. The outbreak of the disease is high in the city, due to which 671 patients have come to the fore and 255 in rural areas. Motilal is giving recognition to the ELISA test being done in the lab of Nehru Medical College only, whereas in private hospitals, dengue is being confirmed on a large scale with rapid kits. Questions are also being raised on the pesticide spraying campaign of the department. Patients are continuously being found in many localities of the city.

Bareilly: Dengue breaks all old records

Dengue has broken old records in Bareilly this year. So far 517 patients have been found in the district this season. Out of this, 9 have died. At present 22 patients are admitted in the district hospital and 7 in private hospitals. Although in reality their number is being told more. In the year 2020, 8 patients were found in the district, 264 in 2019 and 27 in 2018. This year 456 people have been found positive in Badaun. One has died. 306 patients have been found in Shahjahanpur. According to government figures, only eight patients are admitted. At the same time, 206 patients have been found in Pilibhit and three have lost their lives. 33 patients have been found in Lakhimpur. Out of this, two patients died in Nimgaon and Mohammadi areas. However, the health department is not accepting dengue as the cause of death.
