Denmark PM Mette Frederiksen to Indian Community: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and the two leaders discussed in detail issues of regional and global interest, including a range of bilateral cooperation. Modi, who is on a three-nation tour of Europe, reached Denmark from Germany on the second leg of his trip, where Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen welcomed PM Modi on his arrival at Marienborg, his official residence.

PM Fredericksen showed paintings from India

The Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Fredericksen, also took PM Modi to show her home. He showed PM Modi such a painting which is being discussed in India too. Actually this painting was gifted to her by PM Modi, when she came to India. This is a Pattachitra painting which is associated with the folk art of Odisha. Fredriksson has decorated it on the wall of his house.

Fredericksen himself welcomed PM Modi at the airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark on Tuesday afternoon, where the Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen warmly received PM Modi at the airport. When PM Modi interacted with the Indian community in Copenhagen, the Prime Minister of Denmark was also present there. During this, he said that in his address in Copenhagen, Frederickson said that I feel very happy to be present here with you. Giving information about the meeting, Vinay Kwatra told reporters, "The two Prime Ministers discussed in detail bilateral relations and issues of regional and global importance. Kwatra said that there was a fruitful discussion on bilateral relations between the two leaders. He said that a 'letter of intent' (letter of intent) was signed on smart water management, green shipping and it was announced to start ministerial energy dialogue between the two countries.
