Draupadi got more than two thirds of votes in the first round itself

Draupadi Murmu got 540 votes out of 748 in the first round of counting. Apart from this, Yashwant Sinha got 208 votes. A total of 748 votes were found valid in the first round, the value of which is 5 lakh 23 thousand 600. Of these, 540 votes went to Draupadi Murmu, whose value is 3,78,000. On the other hand, Yashwant Sinha was already behind by a huge margin in the first round. He got only 208 votes, whose value was estimated at 1,45,600.

Draupadi Murmu's lead increased further in the second round

Draupadi Murmu's lead in the first round increased further in the second round of counting. Till the second round of counting, a total of 1886 valid votes were counted, out of which Draupadi Murmu got 1349 votes. Apart from this, the number of votes that Yashwant Sinha got was 537. Till the second phase of counting, the value of Draupadi Murmu's votes was 4,83,299, while Yashwant Sinha's votes were valued at 1,89,876. In this way, from the very first stage, Draupadi Murm maintained a huge lead.

Cross voting of opposition MPs

The BJP has claimed that the opposition leaders did cross voting during the first round of voting for MPs. The BJP argued that they expected 523 votes in the first round but got 540 votes.
