BrahMos Missile / DRDO's big announcement, export of this country's supersonic missiles will start by March

BrahMos Missile: India's Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has made a big announcement. DRDO has announced that it will start exporting the country's powerful supersonic cruise missile BrahMos by March this year. It is believed that this will be a big achievement in the country's effort to become completely self-reliant in the defense sector. Information about this announcement has been given by DRDO Chief Sameer V. Kamat himself through news agency ANI.

Orders may come from abroad

Giving information, DRDO Chief Sameer V. Kamat said that DRDO will start exporting BrahMos supersonic cruise missile by March this year. He further said that DRDO will start exporting the ground systems of these missiles in the next 10 days. Apart from this, the 307 ATAGS guns developed by DRDO and manufactured by private sector companies like Bharat Forge and Tata Advanced Systems may also receive orders from foreign countries by the end of this financial year.

There was a deal with this country regarding missiles

It is noteworthy that in January 2022, a deal worth $375 million was signed between India and the Philippines regarding BrahMos missiles. Under this, missiles are to be delivered to the Philippines. The export of these 290 km range missiles was the first agreement of its kind. Under this deal, 3 missile batteries of anti-ship version are also to be exported in 2 years. In this context, it is believed that these BrahMos missiles will be exported to the Philippines.

Many countries had shown interest

For information, let us tell you that many countries of South Asia have shown interest in purchasing BrahMos missile. Which includes countries like Indonesia, Vietnam. Only last year it was reported that Vietnam wants to make a deal worth 625 million dollars with India for BrahMos missile.
