Earthquake tremors were felt in many areas of the country including Delhi-NCR on Saturday morning. The tremors of the earthquake were felt around 9:50 in the morning. It measured 5.7 on the Richter scale.

Earthquake tremors have been felt in all the districts of Delhi-NCR and Noida of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning. People came out of their homes as soon as they felt the tremors.

In Delhi-NCR, people felt the tremor in the earth for about 15-20 seconds. At the same time, very strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Jammu and Kashmir. People in Noida also felt the tremors of the earthquake. People in Kashmir Valley also felt the tremors of the earthquake. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush of Afghanistan.

As of now, no loss of life or property has been reported anywhere. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 on the Richter scale struck the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region at 9:45 am today.
