Maharashtra: The climax of the political drama, which has been going on for 10 days in Maharashtra, was very shocking. On Thursday, Eknath Shinde, leader of the rebel Shiv Sena faction, reached Mumbai from Goa. Former Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis took him to meet the Governor. The announcement made after this meeting disturbed the mathematics of even the political pundits. Fadnavis said that Eknath Shinde will be the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Fadnavis said Shinde would take oath alone at 7.30 pm on Thursday. He said the BJP has supported Shinde for Hindutva. The party will join the government, but Fadnavis will not be a part of it.

Balasaheb's views were put on hold

Devendra Fadnavis said in a conversation with the media that the public had not given majority to the Mahavikas Aghadi. BJP was the single largest party after the election. Shiv Sena fought elections with us, but formed the government with Congress and NCP. Uddhav Thackeray also put the views of Balasaheb Thackeray on hold.

Fadnavis said that for the first time in the history of Maharashtra, two ministers of the government are in jail. Balasaheb always opposed Daud, but a minister in the Uddhav government is associated with Daud. Even after going to jail, he was not removed from the post of minister. This is an insult to Balasaheb.

The decision to rename Aurangabad to Sambhajinagar was also taken when the government was about to leave. It doesn't make any sense. This decision will have to be taken by the new government. Those who have lost to us have been taken into the government. That's why these people decided that we have an alliance but not with Congress, NCP.

Shinde said – BJP has shown a big heart

In the press conference, Eknath Shinde said- We have come together with Balasaheb's agenda of Hindutva and development of the state. We were not able to do anything even when we were in the previous government. No one has any interest in this. Despite being a big party, BJP gave me a chance. Devendra ji showed a big heart. Thanks to Devendra ji for this. I am thankful to PM Narendra Modi ji, Home Minister Amit Shahji, BJP President JP Nadda.

Devendra ji will not be in the cabinet but will continue to guide us. On one side there are big leaders, on the other hand a worker like Eknath Shinde is being given a chance. We will get to see a strong government. This government will be an example in the country. I also thank my colleagues. I am a small worker. But the trust that 50 MLAs have shown in me. I will not let a single scratch on that trust. The central government will help Maharashtra. This will lead to the development of the state.

Kangana's taunt after Uddhav's resignation

Actress Kangana Ranaut has taunted Uddhav Thackeray. Kangana wrote on social media – When sin increases, then there is apocalypse and after that there is creation… and then the lotus blooms in life. Two years ago, BMC demolished several parts of Kangana Ranaut's office Manikarnika Films in Pali Hill, Mumbai, calling it illegal.

After the action, Kangana had said that today my house is broken, tomorrow your pride will be broken. Since then, Kangana has been continuously attacking Shiv Sena and Uddhav government.

today's big statement

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said- Shiv Sena was not born for power, power was born for Shiv Sena. This has been the mantra of Balasaheb. We will work back and then come to power on our own. We were betrayed by our loved ones. His people stabbed with daggers. How can traitors blame Uddhav Thackeray? The rebel MLAs got the contract to topple the government. This is a new experiment of traitors in Maharashtra.

Late on Wednesday night, Uddhav himself had come to resign after driving the car.

Uddhav Thackeray had left for the Raj Bhavan after driving himself to resign at around 11.15 pm on Wednesday night. He was accompanied by both sons Aditya and Tejas Thackeray in the car. When Uddhav reached the Governor to submit his resignation, the Governor asked him to continue in his post till an alternative arrangement was made. After submitting his resignation to the governor, Uddhav Thackeray along with his son Aditya offered prayers at a temple. After this he reached his residence Matoshree.
