IND vs ENG: Former England captain Michael Vaughan has praised Team India after winning the T20 series. Vaughan said that the team which was better in the series won. He has described the Indian team as a favorite for the T20 World Cup to be held this year. India defeated England by 36 runs in the fifth T20 match played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad to make the five-match T20 series 3-2. Captain Virat Kohli, batting brilliantly, scored an unbeaten 80 runs for the team. In the bowling department, Shardul Thakur took three wickets and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets.

On winning the T20 series, Michael Vaughan tweeted congratulating Team India and wrote, 'India has adapted itself to this series brilliantly. Won better team. Under Indian conditions, include Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja in this team and India is a favorite to win the T20 World Cup. It was a lot of fun watching the series. After losing the toss in the fifth team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli came out for the opening for India and both gave the team a bang. Rohit-Virat added 94 runs in just 8.6 overs for the first wicket. Rohit was bowled by Ben Stokes at the score of 64. After this, Suryakumar batted stormy and scored 32 runs in 17 balls, while in the last overs, Hardik Pandya scored 39 runs in 17 balls, batting at a strike rate of 229. Chasing a target of 225 runs, the England team could only manage 188 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
