Before Karachi, England had also defeated Pakistan in Rawalpindi and Multan Tests. In the last two matches, the Pak team gave a fight to some extent, but in Karachi it easily succumbed to the British.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first in Karachi. Thanks to the half-centuries of captain Babar Azam (78) and Agha Salman (56), the Pakistan team scored 304 runs in the first innings. Jack Leach took 4 wickets for England here. In response, the English team was also able to take a lead of only 50 runs. England scored 354 runs in their first innings thanks to a century by Harry Brooke (111) and a half-century by Ben Fox (64). Here Pak bowlers Abrar Ahmed and Nauman Ali took 4-4 wickets.

Batting was a complete flop in the second innings of Pakistan, which was 50 runs behind on the basis of the first innings. Here Rehan Ahmed of England took 5 wickets and Jack Leach took 3 wickets. Here England got a target of just 167 runs to win, which they achieved easily by losing 2 wickets.

The first two Tests were exciting

The first test between England and Pakistan was held in Rawalpindi, in this match England won by just 74 runs. After this, in the second Test held in Multan, the English team won by only 26 runs. In both these Test matches, Pakistan got a target of around 350 in the fourth innings to win, but could not achieve this target.
