Mosquito Coil / Family slept with mosquito coils in Delhi, 6 people died due to suffocation

Mosquito Coil: 6 people died of suffocation in Delhi's Shastri Park area. All were members of the same family. The family lit mosquito coils in the house at night. The mosquito coil then fell on the mattress, which started a fire and smoke filled the room. Due to this, 6 people lost their lives due to suffocation. There, 2 people have got burn injuries.

All the family members were sleeping in a room on the first floor of the house. Among those who died of suffocation are 4 men, 1 woman and a one and a half year old child. 2 people are undergoing treatment.

At the same time, a major fire broke out in AR Tower (readymade market) located in Bansmandi area of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. There was a stir in the area due to the fire. Several fire tenders were on the spot trying to douse the fire. Due to the strong wind, the flames reached the adjacent market as well. A massive fire broke out in AR Tower, Masood Tower 1, Masood Tower 2, and Hamraj Complex. The flames reached SBI Bank. There are 540 shops in all the three complexes. About 65 fire engines are trying to douse the fire. Strong wind is also blowing along with the rain, due to which it is difficult to control the fire.
