Farmer Protest News: Today, on Sunday, a 101-member group of farmers will march towards Delhi from Shambhu border. This move shows the determination of the farmers regarding their pending demands. However, the police administration has tightened the security arrangements and deployed heavy force on the border.

Friday's developments

On Friday, farmers had tried to move towards Delhi, but the police put up a strong resistance. Tear gas shells were fired to stop the farmers and they were stopped at the border itself. Despite this, the farmers continued the agitation by camping at Shambhu border on Saturday.

Strict police monitoring

Police security has been increased at the Delhi-Haryana Shambhu border. Officials have made it clear that farmers will not be allowed to enter the capital under any circumstances.

Movement against BJP in Punjab

Farmer leaders have announced a protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that wherever BJP officials come, farmers will protest against them.

Pandher also objected to the visit of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to Amritsar. He said, "If they come to Punjab, farmers should protest against them."

Allegations against the government and the stance of the farmers

Farmer leader Pandher termed the government's policies as "dogmatic" and said that the government is testing the patience of the farmers. He alleged that after stopping tractor trolleys from entering the capital, the government is now also banning the farmers' foot march.

Pandher said, "We do not want a confrontation, but want to put forward our demands peacefully. But neither are we being allowed to go to Delhi, nor are talks being held."

Demand for guarantee of MSP

The farmer leader stressed on the guarantee of MSP (minimum support price). He said that if the government is really planning to buy all the crops at MSP, then the Prime Minister should make a clear statement on this.

Future of the movement

Farmers say that this movement is a question of their livelihood and future security. Their camp at Shambhu border and their decision to march towards Delhi is proof that they are not ready to back down.

The path for dialogue between the government and farmers is not clear yet, but it is important for both sides that the solution to this movement comes out through peace and dialogue.
