A massive fire broke out in the signal and telecom building of Northern Railway near Delhi's Sabzi Mandi railway station on Sunday afternoon at around 4:00 pm. The fire was so massive that black smoke spread for several kilometers. People around started having irritation in the eyes and difficulty in breathing. After the information, 14 fire tenders reached the spot and are engaged in controlling the fire. However, a spokesman of Northern Railway said that the incident took place outside the station limits, away from the passenger area. Therefore all movement of trains is normal.

The place where the fire broke out is near Pratap Nagar Metro. This increased the danger even more.
